Meet Dr. Brant Molenaar (De Motte, IN)

Brant Molenaar, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana, graduating in 1993. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, in 1989.

Dr. Molenaar comes from a multigenerational family legacy in optometry that began in 1934, when his grandfather opened an optometry practice in his home in Lansing, Illinois. Inspired by both his grandfather and father, Dr. Molenaar felt a calling to follow in their footsteps and began practicing optometry in the same home office where the family practice first started.

He finds deep purpose in helping patients see clearly and values the meaningful role eye health plays in overall well-being. His professional interests include providing thoughtful pre- and post-operative care for procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgery as part of a comprehensive approach to eye care.

In his free time, Dr. Molenaar enjoys spending time with family, especially at the beach, and playing acoustic guitar as part of his church’s worship team.
