Meet Dr. John DeBoer (De Motte, IN)

John DeBoer, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1990. He completed his undergraduate studies at Trinity Christian College and Purdue University Calumet, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. DeBoer is an experienced optometrist focused on providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. Inspired by his father, who was also an optometrist, Dr. DeBoer was drawn to the profession through witnessing the meaningful relationships his father built with patients while delivering quality vision care. He values patient education and takes the time to explain exam results clearly, helping patients understand their eye health and vision needs so they can make informed decisions about their care.

In his free time, Dr. DeBoer enjoys cycling, snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
